Feb. 14, 2020: Updated Information on COVID-19 (2019-nCoV coronavirus) from Health Services
To members of the RISD community,
As we welcome the start of Spring semester, RISD Health Services continues to follow global public health patterns, including the ongoing outbreak of 2019-nCoV coronavirus (renamed COVID-19 this week). We continue to report no suspected cases of coronavirus at RISD, or in our surrounding communities.
This week, we highlight a video from the World Health Organization (WHO) to explain what is currently known about COVID-19.
RISD Health Services is in active daily communication with the Rhode Island Department of Health and will continue to update the community on a regular basis to ensure clear, factual information is disseminated on campus.
Please know that RISD is following all federal and state guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy campus.
If you have any questions or concerns, a FAQ is available on the Health & Wellness website. You may also contact Health Services directly (401-454-6625 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
