Artists rely on their tools: brushes, graphite, digital software. Now we’re adding something new to the toolbox: the resources, skills and knowledge to reach your personal best.
Introducing the Health Education and Promotion (HEP) Office, a hub for campus-wide wellness events, workshops and peer education that offers the support you need to sustain your personal wellbeing. (Or in scientific terms, homeostasis.) It’s part of a holistic effort to helping you reach your artistic goals, by starting from a place of good health.
Wellbeing is a journey, but one you don’t have to take alone. One of the pillars of our approach is our peer health educators, students — we call them Health and Wellness Ambassadors — who work directly with the HEP Coordinator to guide other students on healthy habits and a variety of wellness topics.
Think of it as artists helping artists create a masterpiece: your best self.
and in the meantime, check out ways you can get involved with good health.
